To study or for better job opportunities, we have to move away from home.Some of us have been away from our parents and family since school while some of us are sent away to study. We learn to be independent and we sort our things ourselves. We are always under the pressure of being successful. Living away from home makes you stronger but we also miss our family, love and care. If you too are living away in a hostel or as PG from your home to study or to work, you will surely relate to the list.

1.) You get phone calls from your mother at least 10 times a day.

She always asks about your food, health, studies etc., etc. The list goes on! She needs all the latest updates of your life and there's no two ways about that. 

2.) You and your roommates live like a family. Sometimes they lie to your parents for you and you do the same to their parents.

You almost spend your whole day with them. Naturally, you guys know everything about each other.

3.) You can go wherever you want at any time, buy anything you want, eat whatever you want and do whatever you want.

There is no one to stop you. And it's so damn easy to find a partner in crime. 

4.) You have turned into a very important family member, as now your kin have limited time to show their love to you.

After all you are the one who does not live with the family now. It freaks out your siblings.

You are just tired of eating the food served in the mess. Also, you can't always go out and eat, can you?!

6.) Calling your lover or hanging out with him/her is so easy for you now. You don't have the fear of getting caught.

At home you have to be very alert while talking to them. And then you cannot meet her/him in your hometown, people know you there. But when away from home- FREEDOM!!!

Money management is not the thing for you. Seriously! 

8.) You're always on the lookout for a government holiday attached to Sunday, so that you can pack your bags and go home.

Your parents want you home every month and yes you too feel homesick pretty often.
