SOCEA 3. Why do anyone pursue Non Medical?

The second day I found a revised batch list and this time with teachers name. My name got shifted to another batch, the batch that Vihaam too was in, and also taught by Ankush sir. Maybe the sir has shifted me here.

I went straight to my new batch 004, and met Vihaam. Not changed at all from last time I saw him. I was surprised why he chose non med, because till tenth he was not one of the smart kids in science. He didn't reply clearly. When I thought about it.... question arose.

Why does anyone take up Non Med?

So here's how I classify it according to people I know :

1. Those who are passionate about it. Wants to do good for country and think that they will do it by becoming Engineer.

2. Those who got good marks in 10th, high on enthusiasm to choose the most difficult field, Non Med.

3. Those who think becoming a computer science engineer means - Money.

The Other Types :-

4. Those who thought that it is something related to Computer and it would be easy. Haha Lol.

5. The family Pressure- Father is an Engineer, siblings are engineer or some far cousin got good marks and took engineering or Sharma Ji's son is also doing engineering. In this case, you are nothing more than a competetion prop. You will be compared to others throughout your studies. You will get needless tips, which they call 'Guideance". Don't even think that if you become successful in something, this will stop. Your parents will anyhow find someone else who is better than you.

6. Now this is the special case, but the funniest. A guy, took Engineering, just because her girlfriend took it, so that he could be near her during school as well as tuition. Awwwww soo cute! -_- F*** Logic.

7. Those who have no clue. Not a single reason. They don't know what they're doing, what they're going to do, what they want to be, what they would probably be. They just study, because their parents send them to. Just like a robot, with real low processing speed, messed up programming and made of bones and flesh.

These were all I could figure out. And to place Vihaam in this, obviously need to know him better. Well, with time will.. maybe.
